+OneX positioned to scale up following BBBEE transaction with Drona Holdings

+OneX, a new-age solutions and systems integrator that forms part of the Reunert Group, has concluded a black empowerment capital investment agreement with Drona Holdings, a black owned investment group that partners with businesses to help them scale.

The transaction aligns with Reunert’s strategy for and commitment to broad-based black empowerment (BBBEE). Following the transaction +OneX now has over 51% black ownership, over 30% black women ownership, and 13% black designated group (youth) ownership.

Rob Godlonton, Chief Executive Officer at +OneX says: “We are excited to bring Drona Holdings on board as an active investor and direct BBBEE shareholder in our business. This mutually beneficial partnership will support +OneX’s drive to grow organically and by acquisition as we accelerate our strategy to provide an end-to-end digital transformation offering.”

Mehul Mehta, a director at Drona Holdings, will join the +OneX board as a non-executive director. Says Mehta: “+OneX is already shaping into a significant competitor in the South African ICT industry with an impressive client list and a compelling strategy for the systems integration market of the future. We are excited about the opportunities that this partnership brings and look forward to working with the management team at +OneX to scale up the business in the months to come.”
